About me
I'm a graduate student studying health administration. Between school, work, and my personal life, I had things spread across too many apps and inboxes, and stuff kept slipping through. So I built my own assistant app to keep everything in one spot. That's where all of this started.
Once it was working for me, I turned its foundation into a starter kit, so other people can build their own version of an assistant that helps them keep their lives organized. Building has turned into something I do most days.
I'm self-taught. I learned the basics on a Mac: Python, the Terminal, VS Code, Git, and how to work with APIs. I build with the help of AI coding tools. I plan the features, test everything, review the changes, and decide what's ready. Reading and checking that code is how I've learned most of what I know.
I also take on freelance work under the name Brixly. That can be a website, but it doesn't have to be. If you have an idea for an app or a tool, I can help you plan it and build the foundation, so you have something real to start from instead of a blank page. I work with professional-grade AI coding tools, which lets me move quickly without skipping the testing and review.
